I took it away from areas we know and point out how different environments play a role in each other, and how each one can provide different vibes and styles into one another. Nature is still a big part in my work, especially in experimental so this aspect is kept alive. For sound, it is also utilizing a instrumental track overlay but also includes a variety of sounds that are more experimental for this piece. It assists in telling a uniquely alternate story. To Complete this, I used the Ultra Key effect in Premiere Pro (also known as Chromakey).

DISPLAY TIME: 0:02 -> 0.50
TITLE: Nature of the Game
YOUR ROLE: Director, Cinematographer, Editor
TYPE: Experimental
CAMERA: Canon T5I
LENS: 12-60mm
SOFTWARE: Dragon Frame / Adobe Premiere Pro
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080p, H.264
DURATION: 00’53”
CLASS: FMX 314 Experimental Production
PROFESSOR: Dana Plays
SEMESTER / TERM: SP25
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: In this film, I was focusing on the game of cornhole, while it also was being overtaken by greenery throughout the film. Using the software Dragon Frame, I created this Stop-Motion Animation. The downside to this is that the watermark is on it, due to the fact that I had to use the Lite version from home when I was sick, and it can’t be removed. Even still, this is a unique film that has a story to tell about a game with no real winners as nature overtakes it. It is similar to the house in the original Jumanji where the jungle grows inside from the game. The sound design is done with an instrumental track, and a variety of outside nature sounds of different habitats to create a feeling like you are outdoors playing this game.

DISPLAY TIME: 0:00 -> 0.05
TITLE: A Chaotic Blink
YOUR ROLE: Director, Cinematographer, Editor
TYPE: Experimental
CAMERA: Canon T5I
LENS: 12-60mm
SOFTWARE: Dragon Frame / Adobe Premiere Pro
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080p, H.264
DURATION: 0’07”
CLASS: FMX 314 Experimental Production
PROFESSOR: Dana Plays
SEMESTER / TERM: SP25
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: In an effort to learn the Dragon Frame software, I used some props to create a short stop motion animation as seen above.
