TITLE: Dialogue
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium
HARDWARE: Windows
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This one was my absolute favorite. Dialogue was a blast as creating the moving mouth was fun all in itself. I wanted to encapsulate the saying here and make it a bit unexpected at the end. I also wanted to incorporate another head turn in a way.

TITLE: Walk Cycle
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium
HARDWARE: Windows
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This one honestly was one the easier ones to animate, as to use a looping animation when the scene doesnt really change as much. I like how you can scroll the background to make a movement. Course I do think the scrolling might be a bit too slow here.

TITLE: Weight
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium
HARDWARE: Windows
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I wanted to be different and show weight as a lift rather than a push or a pull. Trying to keep the body the same throughout the process was not easy to say the least as he morphs quite a bit here. But i wanted to showcase the struggle and have fun with his facial expressions.

TITLE: Head Turn
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium
HARDWARE: Windows 10
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I wanted to do a more simplistic head turn as this was my first time actually animating anything. I made a simple character with a red head, no idea where the idea came from but I like the little guy. It’s rather smooth for my first time, so I’m happy about that.

TITLE: FlourBall
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium

SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I decided to use my Flour Sacks to make a “Dragonball” inspired scene, showcasing that you can turn anything into a character with emotions without the dialogue. I really had fun with this one, and its almost 30 seconds!

TITLE: Desk Sitting
MEDIA: 2D Animation

SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I was just trying to get my feet wet for this animation demo. I was trying to figure out the keyframes in the Harmony software as I never touched an animation program before. it’s definitely rough, but I managed to showcase some sort of emotion.

TITLE: Crazy Ball
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Toon Boom Harmony Premium
HARDWARE: Windows 10
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920x1080px, 24fps
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 2023
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: The whole ball animation for a first timer. I loved this one, as the ball defiantly is sentient, but a bit too fast. I love it though as the animation is smooth without much stuttering in between.
