Japanese culture specifically I gravitated towards, mainly from the landscape they have with tall mountains, lots of greenery in nature with many animals involved. I wanted to add that here with a sort of mystical take on it with the large statue in the back. I have gotten better with laying down trees on top of hills along with adding different colored trees. I added animals to scene with slight animations, though I didn’t have time to put them on a track. I added water for a more serene affect.

DISPLAY TIME: 0:27 -> 0:57

TITLE: Tranquil Meditation
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Unreal Engine 5
HARDWARE: Windows 11
SPECIFICATIONS:1920x1080px, 24fps
DURATION: 1’35”
CLASS: FMX 217 Spatial Computing
PROFESSOR: Gregg Perkins
SEMESTER / TERM: Fall 24
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was to showcase how well you can put textures together to make an almost realistic scene within an environment. I wanted to showcase the lighting of UE as it bounces off of objects realistically. I wanted to make a modern structure, using inspiration from housing in Sarasota, Florida. I always liked modern homes and wanted to replicate that. I wanted to put in hardwood along with glass for reflections. I like how it turned out as it doesn’t look cartoonish, but it is still stylized.

DISPLAY TIME: 0:00 -> 0:30

TITLE: Unreal Tokyo
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Unreal Engine 5
HARDWARE: Windows 11
SPECIFICATIONS:1920x1080px, 30fps
DURATION: 0’32”
CLASS: FMX 217 Spatial Computing
PROFESSOR: Gregg Perkins
SEMESTER / TERM: Fall 24
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was amazing, after doing multiple tests using Cesium technology within UE, I managed to recreate Tokyo with all the buildings intact. They do look kind of potato like, but that is because it is grabbing multiple images created by Google to make the city whole. I was very impressed by how it managed to put it all together within a program and make it feel full. This shows that you can generate an area within a short amount of time for a small project. Specially if you want to make a quick backdrop for something.

DISPLAY TIME: 0:19 -> 0:49

TITLE: Cesium Tokyo Test
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Unreal Engine 5
HARDWARE: Windows 11
SPECIFICATIONS:1920x1080px, 30fps
DURATION: 1’07”
CLASS: FMX 217 Spatial Computing
PROFESSOR: Gregg Perkins
SEMESTER / TERM: Fall 24
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was a cool one. We were suppose to find an area of the world to recreate using a program withing Unreal Engine 5 called Cesium, which pulls many images from Google to recreate real life within a 3D space. I was messing around with the generative buildings and layers to see them populate. The map is currently flat, but then by populating the area with OSM buildings, then using Google imagery on top if that, would then generate the area, to my case I used Tokyo, Japan as my world build.

DISPLAY TIME: 0:08 -> 0:38 TITLE: Tranquil MeditationMEDIA: 3D AnimationSOFTWARE: Unreal Engine 5HARDWARE: Windows 11SPECIFICATIONS:1920x1080px, 24fpsDURATION: 0’57”CLASS: FMX 217 Spatial… Read more FMX 430 Spatial Computing

["post-109","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
