DESCRIPTION: This animation was meant to reflect how my brain feels sometimes when I don’t pay attention to caring for my ADHD. The gold circle in the center representing an idea or objective that fades in an out as the chaos around it continues. I enjoyed creating this because of how chaotic I was able to make it.

DESCRIPTION: My first project in the class and also one of my first times working with Adobe After Effects. This project was mainly used to get an understanding of the software and how to function in the workspace. Overall, I like the goofiness of the short and think it served its purpose in teaching e how to use the program.

DESCRIPTION: Ok so clearly I let the goofy take control of my projects in this class. This is a short experimental animation I did to the song “Mail Shrimp” which was featured in an ad for the company MailChimp and has since become something I cannot forget, despite my efforts.

DESCRIPTION: My favorite scene from one of my favorite movies. By this point in the class, I figured out that the goofier themes were where I succeeded, so of course I took an objectively serious scene… and added to it. This was a frustrating project to make because the hat kept flipping upside down or covering the wrong areas.

DESCRIPTION: This was a brief personal branding introduction we made in class. I decided to use footage from my Narrative Project, Switch the Channel, because it was one of the first projects I did as a cinematographer and the shot I used is one I’m very proud of. I like the idea of the treasure chest opening being reflective of the work I’m putting out.

DESCRIPTION: This was an assignment in tracking and rotoscoping. I wanted to do something a bit less goofy for this project so I started with thinking of daily things I could rotoscope. Sunrise and sunset are, in fact, a daily occurrence and although they may not align with where my day starts and stops, they are a staple in everyone’s day.
