TITLE: Eucalyptus
ROLE: Writer
SOFTWARE: Final Draft
PAGES: 13
PROFESSOR: Nora Long
SEMESTER/TERM: SPRING 23
INSTITUTION: The University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: My final screenplay from my first ever screenwriting class. I created Eucalyptus with the idea of putting a spin on man vs. nature. I wanted to play into the idea that yes, there are scary animals out there, but man will always be the most unpredictable. I was inspired to write this after my time working as an alligator handler and realizing that most of the time, it was the people and tourists that I had to worry about more, yet there’s still so much fear surrounding the animals.

TITLE: The Legend of the Warrior’s Five

PAGES: 10
PROFESSOR: Nora Long
SEMESTER/TERM: SPRING 23
INSTITUTION: The University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was a very fun project. It is known as “dealers choice” which consists of Professor long spinning a wheel to decide what genre you need to write, followed by another spin of a different wheel for an objective. I was given the genre of fantasy and had to include a line of that said “I’ve never seen one of those west of the Mississippi.”

TITLE: The Cafe
ROLE: Writer
SOFTWARE: Final Draft
PAGES: 5
PROFESSOR: Nora Long
SEMESTER/TERM: SPRING 23
INSTITUTION: The University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was a short project in which the focus was on putting the protagonist in a dramatic situation. I decided to make a short story about an overworked assistant and her actor boss. This was early in the semester so a lot of this was me getting used to screenplay format and figuring out how to write in a way that made sense.
