A Figure, 2024

For my final project in Darkroom Photography, I photographed a cloaked figure and it’s human counterpart across various spaces in the city. This series showcases how people sometimes feel they are being watched or are near or connected to an otherwordly presence. Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.

House on Stilts, 2024 (left) and Mall Santa, 2024 (right)

These images come from a roll I shot to showcase people and places existing in the modern urban landscape. It seemed odd to me that places like these could be only a few hundred feet apart from each other (Westshore Tampa). Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.

This is a contact sheet from a roll I created on circles. Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.

Sucked into a Bagel, 2024

This is a double exposed enlargement from two separate negatives. It is inspired by the musically-improvised line from Stephanie Hsu in the 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once. Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.

Portraits, 2024

These are two photos I took of strangers in downtown Tampa. Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.

This is a photo I shot on the first roll I ever developed. Shot on my Canon EOS 650 with Kodak ISO 400 Film and developed by me.
