One of my goals was to have the ball picked up by a crane and thrown into the scene. However, I ran into some challenges with making the ball stick to the crane and then detach at the right moment. I also struggled with refining the animation curves in the graph editor to get the timing and smoothness just right. Despite these difficulties, the project gave me valuable insight into animation principles and problem-solving in 3D.

Title: Character turn
Media: Autodesk Maya
Class: 3D Animation II
Professor: Dana Corrigan
Term: SP 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: For the character turn, I recorded a video of myself turning, paying close attention to the weight transfer during the motion. I then used a pre-rigged character to practice animating the turn. Overall, I’m happy with how the turn came out—it aligns well with the reference and captures the intended movement. However, the wave at the end could be refined, and I think the character could benefit from more expressive facial gestures to add more personality to the animation.

Title: Character walk
Media: Autodesk Maya
Class: 3D Animation II
Professor: Dana Corrigan
Term: SP 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: The character walk cycle presented some challenges for me. While using a pre-rigged character was a huge help, getting the key poses to flow smoothly into one another was tricky. There were several instances where the character’s legs would drift or behave oddly, usually because I had either moved a keyframe or forgotten to key something properly. It took a lot of trial and error to get everything working seamlessly, but the process taught me a lot about attention to detail and refining the timing in walk cycles.

Title: Animatic Recreation Final
Media: Autodesk Maya
Class: 3D Animation II
Professor: Dana Corrigan
Term: SP 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: For the final project in 3D Animation II, we were tasked with selecting an existing animatic and bringing it to life in 3D using pre-rigged characters. This project challenged us to match timing, emotion, and movement while translating 2D storyboards into a fully realized 3D animation.

Title: Room Turn TableMedia: Autodesk MayaClass: 3D Animation IIProfessor: Dana CorriganTerm: SP 25Institution: The University of TampaDescription: For the first… Read more FMX 317 3D Animation II

["post-335","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
