Joshua Schwartz is a American film editor. He graduated from The University of Tampa with a BFA in Film & Media Arts in 2025 and has worked across various post-production roles, including sound design, digital imaging technician, and coloring. His experimental film Microcosmia screened at the 2024 Gasparilla International Film Festival and he is currently working on a narrative short film titled “Everything Between Us” set to release in 2026.
Schwartz grew up watching creating Youtube videos in the early days of Final Cut Pro before eventually studying TV production in high school and being introduced to the Adobe Suite. He worked as an assistant director and sound mixer on several indie short films in college before creating his thesis project “Everything Between Us.” Schwartz has also been involved in music and concert photography, working with artists such as Rachel Prancer and Laundry Day. Schwartz is currently working in IT while continuing to work as a freelance photographer, video editor, and graphic designer.
