Title: Fairy Staff & Lantern
Media: Autodesk Maya
Class: 3D Printing and Modeling
Professor: Emma Quintana
Term: Fa 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: This was the final project for the class and required a lot of time and planning. I wanted to stick with the fairy theme from the previous project but make something more prop-like. I was inspired by cosplay props and game characters to create a lantern on a staff. I started with some initial sketched of the lantern and staff before moving into Maya. I modeled the lantern first in Maya which ended up being a combination of 8 different pieces. I then modeled the staff and a chain that could be used to hand the lantern from the staff. The staff ended up being cut into 3 pieces for the final assembly. The entire prop is 3D printed and model by me in Maya apart from one zip tie that holds the chain and top of the lantern together. Although I didn’t quite capture the initial vison I had I was still very happy with the final result. If I had more time I would add a wing design onto the staff, make the staff longer and modify the base of the lantern.

Title: Fairy Vase
Media: Fusion 360
Class: 3D Printing and Modeling
Professor: Emma Quintana
Term: Fa 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: For this Project we practiced using the revolve tool in Fusion. The assignment was to make a spherical vessel like a vase. I decided to create a whimsical fairy themed vase by adding wings and celestial motifs to the body of the vase. I also added a top so that the vase could work more like a vial or jar.

Title: Pumpkin & Hat
Media: Fusion 360, Autodesk Maya
Class: 3D Printing and Modeling
Professor: Emma Quintana
Term: Fa 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: For this Project we followed a tutorial on how to make a pumpkin in Fusion 360. We had to add a unique component to the pumpkin so I added stars to the pace of the pumpkin and a witch hat that could be placed on top. The inside of the pumpkin is hollow so that a small candle could be placed inside and whine through the stars. The pumpkin was done in Fusion 360 and that hat was done in Maya.

Title: Stamper and Stamp Plate
Media: Fusion 360
Class: 3D Printing and Modeling
Professor: Emma Quintana
Term: Fa 25
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: This was the first assignment in 3D Printing and Modeling which acted as an introduction to both modeling and printing. We followed a tutorial to create a stamper and stamp plate with our name in Fusion 360. With my prior 3D modeling experience I was able to add onto the base tutorial stamper (bow, spiral and emblem on handle). We were also introduced to the 3D printers for the first time (I also had prior experience using the 3D printers and own my own). Even as an experienced modeler and printer this was a fun introduction assignment and my first time using Fusion 360.
