DESCRIPTION: For this Final project for the class, I went out and shot footage of nature, and surfaces that you would find outside. I took it away from areas we know and point out how different environments play a role in each other, and how each one can provide different vibes and styles into one another. Nature is still a big part in my work, especially in experimental so this aspect is kept alive. For sound, it is also utilizing a instrumental track overlay but also includes a variety of sounds that are more experimental for this piece. It assists in telling a uniquely alternate story. To Complete this, I used the Ultra Key effect in Premiere Pro (also known as Chromakey).

DESCRIPTION: In this film, I was focusing on the game of cornhole, while it also was being overtaken by greenery throughout the film. Using the software Dragon Frame, I created this Stop-Motion Animation. The downside to this is that the watermark is on it, due to the fact that I had to use the Lite version from home when I was sick, and it can’t be removed. Even still, this is a unique film that has a story to tell about a game with no real winners as nature overtakes it. It is similar to the house in the original Jumanji where the jungle grows inside from the game. The sound design is done with an instrumental track, and a variety of outside nature sounds of different habitats to create a feeling like you are outdoors playing this game.

DESCRIPTION: In an effort to learn the Dragon Frame software, I used some props to create a short stop motion animation as seen above. After I finished 120 frames, I exported the movie out of Dragon Frame. Then, I imported in premiere after the fact to key the background color to green and then add a background to it to give an environment.

DESCRIPTION: Using a variety of projects from the first month of the class, I was instructed to create a Triptych movie. There is a mixture of both my Chromakey and Amnesia projects, as well as one of my in class exercise. This was a great piece to learn how to put together, and it helps share a three part story.

DESCRIPTION: I was given a Canon camera to go out and shoot subjects in macro. I was to go outside and find 8 interesting shots, then come inside and find 2 objects to film at macro. This is a really neat ability that helps shed light on details and colors that no one typically considers.
