DESCRIPTION: To finish the class, I was tasked to create a 8-15 minute final documentary to use the skills that I had learned throughout the semester. I was thinking about how I could make it interesting and focus on an important figure within the community. As such a strong leader who helped get us through the hurricanes and does so much, I wanted to learn more about her job within the community and who she is. This short documentary embodies Mayor Castor’s characteristics of a leader and how she has served this community. I was able to get this interview by emailing her directly, and she reached out and was willing to “help a fellow Spartan”. At the end of submission, I sent it to her and she responded on it!
