At the Tampa Animation Festival, I worked as the Assistant Technical Director, stationed at the front of house, where everything came together in real time. My role focused on managing the projectionist during screenings, ensuring visuals were clean, timed, and uninterrupted. I also set and adjusted the lighting for the space, shaping the atmosphere to match each program, while overseeing sound to ensure consistent, clear playback across films. Being at FOH meant problem-solving on the fly and coordinating across departments, helping the festival run smoothly and keeping the focus where it belonged on the films and the artists behind them.
